Popular Singing and Performance

Having commenced in September 2010, this innovative course has become extremely popular among students aged between 10 and 18. By bringing like-minded students together, our aim is to provide vocal tuition and performance skills in a group environment that encourages and inspires students to be at their most creative. This course focuses on singing and performing popular reportoire including songs from musicals, pop charts and TV shows. Vocal technique, such as correct breathing and voice projection, will be taught in conjunction with performance skills, assets to any individual regardless of their career or faculty. This course and reportoire are ideal for singers preparing for Junior and Leaving Cert Music practicals who may not have prior experience in vocal training.
